The site is finally taking shape. The main shed is finished and the container has moved into the final position.
Next time the digger comes on site it will be to break into the upper level and to start clearing the ground ready for our Hugelkulture beds.
Just received delivery of the above. How exciting! It means we will shortly be receiving 300 Blueberry bushes and will need a bunch of young people to do some potting on. It also means that this is the start of our Blueberry Project. The project received a generous grant from UnLtd which meant that we have been able to start the project.
The soil was sent by a hugely helpful company called Woodland Horticulture Ltd. The company has been brilliant from the word go, helping me to calculate the soil I needed and delivering without a hiccup. They can be contacted on 01458 441122 or visit the link above for their website.
What was started over 10 months ago is now finally nearing completion. Nothing like a bit of pressure to speed up the process. The blackberry bushes are on the way and we will need a suitable hut to work from.
And one storage cabin has gone. We are left with the small one which will move to one side of the cabin.
